Toolpartspro.com provides a 7 day return policy, which is subject to the following:
You may return any unused parts in its original condition and in its original packaging for a refund within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will pay the return shipping cost if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason, you will be charged for both ways of shipping along with a 25% restocking fee.
Power tool manufacturers do not refund or exchange electrical parts (switches, brushes, armatures, etc.) once these electrical parts are out of the box or the package has been opened.
Special orders from some manufacturers require additional stocking fee and some specialty manufacturers do not take parts back at all, in which case we will not be able to take the parts back.
Return Procedure
To return a product, you must request us for a Return Authorization number (RA#) by calling our Customer Services at 888-982-6540. You can only request an RA# within 7 days after you receive your shipment. Please make sure you write this number on the outside of the box you send back to us. Returns without an RA # will be refused.
Damaged or Defected Items
You must inspect your package immediately upon receipt for shortages (did not receive all the items listed on the packing slip that show as shipped), damages or defects. You must notify us within three (3) days of receipt of any shortages, damages or defects. Although your product may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, we cannot take responsibility for any damages or defects beyond this point and you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.
If the certified technician determines that your product was not damaged or defective or if you returned the product and upon our inspection we determine the product is not damaged or defective, you may be charged for the service call and/or shipping plus a 15% restocking fee.
Make sure when returning an item that:
The product includes all original packing materials, manuals and accessories to avoid any additional fees and the product is securely packaged to avoid any damage.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled that have not been shipped yet. To cancel an order that has not been shipped yet, please call our customer service department immediately.
Once an item or an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled and you will have to process a general return which will incur cancellation fees, restocking fees, additional return shipping charges plus the original shipping charges can also not be refunded. Drop ship orders (mainly machinery orders, large tool orders or expedited orders) that have been shipped cannot be cancelled and if for any reason the customer decides to cancel that order there is significant cancellation fees, restocking fees and return shipping charges. In addition, the original shipping charges will not be refunded. Every tool manufacturer has different order cancellation policy so if you ever need to cancel a drop ship order than please call us and we can let you know what the fees will be.
Refunds
We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
